Welcome To The Robo World

Over the past decade, the robotics and artificial intelligence revolution have captured the world’s imagination, with profound implications for economies, people and education. They are showing up everywhere, but it’s not the apocalyptic uprising you see in Hollywood movies. From chatbots to self-healing vehicles, they are rapidly changing the way we work and live.

Have you ever imagine that, when you wake up in the morning, once you open up your eyes, everything that is in your mind such as breakfast, office wear, slippers and even more has already been prepared by your “robot slave”. You do not have to do anything; all you have to do is, sit and wait! You just have to sit on your bed and wait for your robot to serve you, aren’t your life will be easier and wonderful?

From this, we can see that how amazing it could be with the existence of robots. Maybe in the future, they are only our trusted friends.

The course consists of 6 sessions and is offered in English.

Course Overview

Getting Started

Although the science of robotics only came about in the 20th century, the history of robots and human-invented automation has a much lengthier past. Where did the term robot come from? What are the components of a typical robot?

This module is divided into following sessions:

  • What is a ROBOT?
We'll kick things off by taking a look at the basics of robotics and explore the history of these fascinating machines.

  • Understanding Working

  • Brace yourself as we unscrew every part of the robot and learn about the components of a robot.

Computer Robot

Anatomy and Applications

Not all robots walk and talk; some simply do their job and are not designed to speak or interact with humans. Robots in the modern world fulfill a wide variety of tasks. Robotic applications are now being used in a variety of industries.

This module is divided into following sessions:

  • Understanding Robo Family
Thanks to AI, robots have become more aware and more autonomous than ever. Here, we'll discuss some of the applications.

  • Bio Mimickery
Robot design is a highly iterative process, so what better inspiration is there to draw from than nature. How has nature inspired them?

Robot World

Smart and Intelligent Robots

In the very next decade, robots will become vital components in a number of applications, and robots paired with AI will be able to perform complex actions that are capable of learning from humans.

This module is divided into following sessions:

  • Humanoid World
A Humanoid is a robot with intelligence and a body like those of humans. Let us try and understand all about them.

  • Future of Robotics
How close is the future where humanoids appear in our daily lives? Let us delve deeper to answer this question.
